Fashion continue

Fashion (continue)
           Week 8 Today I had the Reading English Strategies class at 8.30 a.m.-12.30 p.m. My friends and I learned about "Fashion" that continues last week. The class started. The teacher reviewed the info last week. She asked us that Could you show the pictures about hair in their countries? But there students forget this homework. Therefore she said "Who forget this homework? Let's go to do it quickly. I give you 15 minutes." When I heard that I run to do it quickly. I was very tired. When I had already done it, I went  back the class. Then she told us to look at our hand-out on page 73 and look at the pictures and slove the anagrams about hair. For example : 1 hipriasky is spiky hair. 



Next, she provided us to read the story. the story was "Splitting Hairs." because she had to attend to the meeting. She told Aj.Putsadee to take the class instead her. When Aj. Putsadee came into the class. she gave us reading the story. After that, she taoght how to read and translate the meaning of the text.


             I think I found difficult words, phrases and main idea. when I had problems, I will try to guess words meaning, find the reference, and summary the main idea but I cannot understand this story and find the main idea. I am going to solve the problems are reading it a few time, search the words on dictionary.cambridge.org, and opened dictionary on my cell phone etc. If I was unfamiliar some words or some phrases and try to find the main idea, I will note them in my handout. I used skimming, scanning, finding the main idea, and checking the answers of "Fashion" in reading. 
            When we had already done exercise finish, the master who gave corrective feedback for us. My attitudes toward this lesson is useful for all students. It can be applied to the other course or lesson for understanding in reading each of stories.

Fashion

Fashion
         Week 7, On 15 September.Asst. Prof.Dr.Usa Noytim taught us about"Fashion." When the class started. The lecturer gave us to dicuss about "The fashion" and she gave handout for all students. Then she gave the topic and wrote the topic on the white board that "Fashion" and told us what wrote "What are the words in association with fashion?" Who known the words? Could you write the word on the white board

The story of this text make me so happy and so fun
because I get to know the new words  and know about the fashions such as
           
sneakers
kimono

high heels

T-shirt

Jeans









And then she gave us for looking at our handout and taught How to read the story.This week, The story is Fusion? Confusion! I think I found difficult words, phrases and main idea. when I had problems, I will try to guess words meaning, find the reference, and summary the main idea but I cannot understand this story and find the main idea. I am going to solve the problems are reading it a few time, search the words on dictionary.cambridge.org, and opened dictionary on my cell phone etc. If I was unfamiliar some words or some phrases and try to find the main idea, I will note them in my handout. I used skimming, scanning, finding the main idea, and checking the answers of "Fusion? Confusion!" in reading. After that, She gave us to make a pair of groups which help together for finding the main idea and then send the someone in their groups who wrote the main idea of each paragraph. The lecturer was ver serious about us because We cannot find the main idea of each paragraph. 
               When we had already done exercise finish, the master who gave corrective feedback for us. My attitudes toward this lesson is useful for all students. It can be applied to the other course or lesson for understanding in reading each of stories.

Today's technology (Continue)

Today's technology continue
          Week 6 On 8 September 2015, Asst. Prof.Dr.Usa Noytim taught us about "Today's technology." to continue from last week. When the class started. She gave us to take a sit on the set chair and she gave the. Then she gave the examination sheets for the students about "A healthy diet? and the natural disasters." who did an hour for taking the test. said the teacher. When time out!, kept them. After that She said "Make a group to work. Group A to F, Each of them picks up the topics (the topics are 1.Blogging for ELT1, 2.Bloging for ELT2, 3.Podcast1, 4.Podcast2, 5.Facebook and 6.Search engine ), Everyone in the group reads the article of their topic for picking up!, Discuss about it inside their groups, Take the topic's summary, Each of groups' 2 people move to other groups for talking about their topics' summary, Tell each text of them for other groups, and go to discuss about the getting topic infront of the class." Next, who taught how to read "the musicnews&views' text." How to read this stories.This week, She gave to read the story about musicnews&views.How to read it the teacher say that 1. look at the picture 2. predicing the picture 3. previewing strategies which made us be easy for reading , interpretation and comprehension. And we used skimming, and scanning strategies and find the reference of subject in reading. The stories of the text ,I think I found difficult words and phrases. when I had problems, I will try to guess that words but I can not. I will solve the problems are open dictionary book, search for information on the internet, line dictionary on my smart phone and http://dictionary.cambridge.org etc. If I was unfamiliar some words or some phrases, I will note them in my work-sheet.

Then she gave the topic and wrote the topic on the white board that "Technology" and told us that wrote "What are the words in association with natural disaster?" said the teacher. Who known the words? Could you write the word on the white board and then she gave us for looking at our handout and taught How to read the story.This week, She gave to read the story about Profcast.How to read the news story the teacher say that 1. look at the picture 2. predicing the picture 3. previewing strategies 4. Tips for writing a summary which made us be easy for reading , interpretation and comprehension.I used skimming, and scanning strategies and find the reference of subject in reading. The story is "Profcast"of the text ,I think I found difficult words and phrases. when I had problems, I will try to guess that words but I can not. I will solve the problems are open dictionary book, search for information on the internet, line dictionary on my smart phone and http://dictionary.cambridge.org etc. If I was unfamiliar some words or some phrases, I will note them in my notebook.
