Classic Ann Landers

           Week12 Today I had the reading English strategies class in the morning again. The teacher taught me about "Classic Ann Landers" When the class started, she gave us read the letter of Ann Landers to advice to the problem others. It is interesting but It makes me serious all the period. because we cannot do the exercise of this unit. It makes the lecturer ........ ????

             I think I found difficult words, phrases and main idea. when I had problems, I will try to guess words meaning, and find the reference but I cannot understand this story and find the main idea. I am going to solve the problems are reading it a few time and searching the words on dictionary.cambridge.org, and opened dictionary on my cell phone etc. If I was unfamiliar some words or some phrases and try to find the main idea, I will note them in my handout. I used skimming, scanning, finding the main idea, and checking the answers of "Classic Ann Landers" in reading.
            When we had already done exercise finish, the master who gave corrective feedback for us. My attitudes toward this lesson is useful for all students. It can be applied to the other course or lesson for understanding in reading each of stories.and the last, she gave us doing to read the letter to Ann Landers and give my advice the writer, write it on the A4 paper and send it on next week.

Paragraph Reading Strategies : Books and Novels

           Week11 Today I had the reading English strategies class in the morning again. The teacher taught me about " Paragraph Reading Strategies : Books" When the class started, she gave us doing the exercise- There are eight short descriptions of books and novels. Read the question and then skim the descriptions for the answeres. Work as quickly as I can. Compare my answers with other student.
        Books-including with title, authers. description, publisher, year,number of page and cost of book etc.

Aspects of Britain and the USA

West meets East (continue)

           Week10 Today I had the reading English strategies class in the morning. The teacher taught me about " West meets East." to continue last week.when the class started, she gave us discussing the questions with my partner that the text mentions many celebrities, foods, and products from Asia. Which are we familiar with? Do you like them? and what products, celebrities, and foods from other Asian countries do we like? around 10 munites for discussing. and then she gave us to do the exercise about the vocabulary focus1 : Complete the text with the words in the box and taught the grammartical how to use like and such as.After that she told us to read the text about ''Expat in Asia''

             I think I found difficult words, phrases and main idea. when I had problems, I will try to guess words meaning, find the reference, and summary the main idea but I cannot understand this story and find the main idea. I am going to solve the problems are reading it a few time and searching the words on dictionary.cambridge.org, and opened dictionary on my cell phone etc. If I was unfamiliar some words or some phrases and try to find the main idea, I will note them in my handout. I used skimming, scanning, finding the main idea, and checking the answers of "Expat in Asia" in reading. And the last my friends and I discussed and wrote short answers to the question as 1. What did Michael say that was most interesting or surprising to you? 2. What oppinions do you generally agree with? Did Michael say something that you find questionalable or disgreeable? 3. What futhure questions would you like to ask Michael? and did the exercise for Inferring part.
            When we had already done exercise finish, the master who gave corrective feedback for us. My attitudes toward this lesson is useful for all students. It can be applied to the other course or lesson for understanding in reading each of stories.

West meets East
              Week9 Today I had the reading English strategies class in the morning. The teacher taught me about " West meets East." When I heard the topic, I was interested. The class started. She gave us to look at the powerpoint for reaching the lesson and taught the cultures between the west and east. I was excited so much because I was allover about the west meets east cultures. And then she gave to do pre-reading1 and pre-reading2 (Discuss the questions with a partner.) Next, She gave us to read the story that was the "Asianization" of the United States.
